She
gangly, freckly and thin
unnoticeable, what a sin
wore a unique pink pin
embedded with shards of crystals
fit only for the Queen of Mystic Falls.
The pin
profound in size
accentuated her auburn hair
camouflaging her resentful glare
at a man in a distance with a beauty by his side; a lovely pair.
She was once his lover - oh, they were so in love!
But their passion faded within time; lost, alas
thus baring herself to loneliness.
And all that's left of him,
his gift to her,
is that
pink
pin.
