lately i've been into these bands, The Bird & The Bee and The Weepies. Yup weird music but definitely very nice. I can't describe that sensation. Indescribable.
Presenting to you, the burung & the lebah:
that comprises of:
Inara George (right, and also the 'bird') and Greg Kurstin (the 'bee'). Cute name right? Amazing music. more like weird, queer, strange but soothing music. Love this group.
Band no. 2 is The Weepies. I assume the word 'weepies' came from 'weep', which is "to express grief, sorrow, or any overpowering emotion by shedding tears.' (Quote dictionary.com). But their songs are not weepy-ish! They're soothing too and the lyrics are pretty meaningful.
It's also a two-man band:
husband & wife duo, Deb Talan & Steve Tannen. I usually listen to the weepies at night and i tell you it's an incredible feeling. :-)
